AstroVis_Analytics

I developed our website entirely in native HTML, PHP, Java Script, and SQL, as well as programming a number of additional functions, primarily in the astronomy area. Third-party software such as jAlbum was seamlessly integrated into our corporate design.

To continuously optimize the website's content and navigation, I implemented a server- and SQL-based log statistics dashboard as a proprietary development. This allows for a detailed analysis of the use of our web content, including clicks on images.

Web analytics tools help website operators collect data about their visitors' user behavior and use it to make decisions about website optimization.

Uninteresting posts can thus be identified and the website can be revised from time to time.

Access is analyzed both over time and by region. It is also interesting to know which accounts link to the website to determine where it is listed.

Access from crawlers/robots and from the website owner themselves is ignored, and all IP addresses are anonymized for data protection reasons. All detailed analyses on my website are password-protected.

I provide the complete AstroVis_Analytics components, including all scripts, upon request and integrate them into your website as required.

I have integrated my self-developed database software for user and session management with multi-level role-based access authorization, e.g., to the intranet, to the web admin functions, or to copyright protection for AstroVis_Guide objects, along with additional features such as password loss and user updates with user avatars.
